Creating an office for work and play

When you want people to think creatively and push the boundaries of what’s possible, their workspace shouldn’t be a drab maze of beige cubicles. Our offices have become well known for their innovative, fun and—some might say wacky—design. Like most of our decisions, data shows that these spaces have a positive impact on productivity, collaboration and inspiration. Simply put, we aim to make our offices a place that Googlers want to be. A reporter from The New York Times stopped by our Manhattan offices and was surprised by what he found.
